The universe seems to be bursting with planets, and this is profoundly important â but not in the way we might expect
He, who through vast immensity can pierce, See worlds on worlds compose one universe, Observe how system into system runs, What other planets circle other suns, What varied Being peoples every star, May tell why Heaven has made us as we are.
The perfect choice for the new Batman has been right under our noses all along…
It hit me last night. Like a ton of goddamn bricks. I’ve read all the rumors: Brolin, Gosling, Edgerton, Armitage, even Bale returning to the cowl. I like some of these options to varying degrees, but nothing has really made complete sense to me like it did for Bale back in ‘03. And as I racked my brain it came to me: The next Batman needs to be Tom Mother Fuckin’ Hardy.
Dudes got it all. The acting pedigree, the build, the looks, the darkness to pull off the Bat. The only thing, the ONLY thing (and yeah, its a big one) is that he just played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises a year ago.
But seriously, who cares? If the Human Torch can be Captain America, I think that Bane (whose face you only actually saw for about 5 seconds) can be The Batman.
If anything, his casting would signal an obvious departure from the Nolan Universe, and that we are dealing with an entirely new and independent Batman from anything we’ve seen before.
So let’s get this train going. We’ll call the movement “Bane for Batman.” You’re all welcome on board.
